Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are Permits Required?
A: The answer varies, ask your local planner in your city or county planning and building department. It is your responsibility as the customer to check with your county if any permits are required. Note: You will need to place the order to receive 3 sets of plans. Be prepared to draw up a plot or site plan of your property with existing improvements and proposed building location.
Q: Does the ground need to be leveled?
A: Yes, otherwise your building will be installed on land “AS IS”. Our installers will NOT do any ground work to the land so any ground work needed must be done before date of installation. If land isn’t leveled it will be up to you, the customer, to fill in any gaps left in the bottom of the base rail. In most cases however; the installers will not install your unit and a return fee will be added to your order if we have to return once the site is level.
Q: Do I have to pour concrete? If so can you do the concrete?
A: Pacific Metal is not contracting to do concrete work at this time. we can install on a new concrete slab, ground or asphalt. Any existing concrete must be substantial enough to hold anchors.
Q: Is the deposit refundable if order is cancelled?
A: Deposits are only 10% down and are considered non refundable after 3 business days. The dealer/salesperson already has time and costs invested and the 10% deposit is considered for services rendered and the order processed after 3 days.

A: We would need a signature on the contract, which shows the building size, any accessories, the color selection for the building, Address and number(s) to contact you for installation dates and a 10 % down payment.
